A. Using the English II Quality Core Standards, create at least one essential question and at least 2 learning targets. (The essential question should come from your theme, and the learning targets can come from the Quality Core Standards.)
B. Decide on what type of formative assessment you will use at the end of your lesson.
C. Choose 10 vocabulary words that go along with your texts and theme.
D. Choose 4 literary elements that you will teach to the class.
E. Create 20 discussion questions about your texts. Average 5 questions per text, but you also need to create questions that link the texts to each other.
F. Decide if you are going to conduct a live discussion or an online discussion.
