The ending of the book was very sad because Liesel was left alone, her foster parents and best friend were killed.

I was sad and crying at the end of the book. I can't believe that almost everyone died. But when Max and Liesel were reunited, I was happy.

It was terrible. I'm mad about it and heck no, I'm not satisfied. Why would everyone die? That's stupid. I guess I'm glad that she sees Max again, though.

I was really trying not to cry. It was so sad and depressing. I thought that it should have told who Liesel married because it left me wondering if her and Max got married.

ALL I DID WAS CRY! Not like one tear, but like a monsoon of tears.

I really liked the ending of the book, I thought it was perfect! Of course it was sad, I couldn't imagine being the only person to be left alive on my street. However, I liked that she got to live with the mayor and his wife and that Max found her later! I thoroughly loved it, it was the perfect ending and I wouldn't have wanted it to end any other way.

I was mad about the ending of the book!!!! I had no idea that everyone was going to die! I thought it was only Rudy. I wasn't completely satisfied with the denouement. It was satisfying that she lived happily ever after and was able to have a family and live a long life. However, I was not satisfied with everyone else dying!

1. I thought it was really, sad, yet good. Death had foreshadowed plenty of death throughout the book so by the time the book was over it sort of just allowed it all to work and coincide. I didn't like the ending, I wasn't super happy with it, either. But it fit the purpose and finally took the emtoions the book held and let them flow through the character Leisel and Max and others.

I held it all in until she laid the accordion down by papa, then I cried about it during the rest of the reading.

I was very surprised by the ending of the book. I had no idea that everyone was going to die. I wasn't satisfied because I wanted to know if her and Max got married.

I did not like the end of the book because everybody died. I was only expecting that Rudy would die, and I didn't think the rest of them should die too. But I was happy that Liesel was reunited with Max.

It was very emotional and sad, but I was happy with how it ended. Even though I was upset that Himmel Street was no more, at least they died in their sleep and didn't suffer. I did like how Leisel greeted death and almost came to terms with what had happened.

As a prediction, according to what I know and the knowledge I have gained from those who have completed. I'm going to cry and I'm going to be mad. Which I'm sure I will, because I have grown attached to Leisel, Rudy, and even Death.

I was completely shocked that everyone except Liesel died. Reading Death's narration of taking everyone on Himmel street.

The ending of the book was very sad because Liesel lost her foster parents and her best friend. I was satisfied with the ending because Max found her.
