I noticed the lights and colors that seem to glow around Thanksgiving. They seemed to have the looks of fall along with a calm, relaxed, yet warm feel with them.

I noticed that if the colors were dull, like gray, I felt horrible. This was very noticeable after eating Thanksgiving dinner and being miserable. But when the sun was out and the day was bright, I had a lot of energy.

I noticed that the sky looked purple one night. I pointed it out to my brother and he said "Red sky at morning, sailors take warning. Red sky at night, sailors delight." Even though the sky wasn't red this expression made me think that the colors of the sky are actually worth looking at.

Over the break I noticed that bright and warm colors were associated with my family's Thanksgiving dinner due to the food and cheerful atmosphere. I also noticed that, since Winter is approaching, the colors outside were often dull and cool, causing an almost tiring and sad atmosphere.

On Friday morning as I was headed to my grandparents after a night of non-stop shopping, the light between the dead of night and the break of day was very intriguing. Its like the lingering light before the day. I like it.

Colors over the break appeared to be calm and warm. With it being Thanksgiving, there were many yellows, reds, browns, and oranges present.

I noticed the different colors of thanksgiving and Christmas decorations. With each of the decorations, it makes everything seem okay. With Christmas decorations, the moment I saw that tree light up and when I saw all the different shades of red and green, I instantly felt calm and happy.

I think the colors represent emotions.

The cold weather gave everything a gray light. Being at my grandfather's house for thanksgiving, I saw warm colors.

The colors change throughout the day, and they signify certain things. Death is dark (you wear black at funerals.) Spring is light, and not many days are gloomy (bright yellow and pink flowers). Colors add drama to events. We as people identify holidays of happiness with color. We use it everywhere.

I really have not figured out what the colors mean. I do not know why Death keeps mentioning them.
