This unit consists of 10 days of lessons. Each lesson must have a formative assessment. The unit also must have a summative assessment in order for you to receive credit for the day(s) we have missed. It is required that teachers take a grade for each day that we miss. Upon returning to school, you will receive a chance to make up the assignments within 7 days. Because this is a novel unit, once you start the book you must finish it (even if we do not miss the entire 10 days). Upon completion of the unit, you will complete a take-home test over Great Expectations. The test will consist of the following: two constructed response questions and one essay question. The essay will be graded according to the AP free response rubric. The constructed responses will be scored based on the English 10 Analytic Rubric.
Note: There will be satellite sites set up at each school (NTES, STES, TCMS, TCCHS). Even if your teachers are not able to be present at a satellite site, all of your teachers will be available for questions via e-mail.
